So, I was looking at some of the older posts and I was practically drooling over some of the bags that have been recommended. What really amazed me was the pricing of handbags today. Of course, it made me wonder, what is the most expensive handbag out there?

I didn’t have to research very long to find my answer, thanks to Forbes’ list of the World’s Most Extravagant Handbags. The world’s most extravagant bag is Chanel’s “Diamond Forever” tote, far surpassing the second most extravagant bag, the Hermes Matte Crocodile Birkin Bag at $120,000. The Chanel bag debuted last December and costs a person $260,150. Wow, right? That’s a pretty intense number for a handbag.

“Each is a stepped-up version of the classic Chanel shoulder bag, with the iconic Chanel “Cs” encrusted in a staggering 334 diamonds (a total of 3.56 carats) set in 18-carat white gold. The alligator skin is farmed and treated with a matte finish.” (Forbes)
