Valentine

Valentine’s is coming up and love is in the air…well maybe not for all of us. I’m sure there are at least a handful out there that is simply dreading Valentine’s Day and the other handful of you are just denying that it exist saying that it is simply a commercialized holiday, whatever the case, read on…there’s something in here for everyone.

For the Single Ladies:

Don’t be down, enjoy the single life! Grab some of your favorite girlfriends and shop or better yet stay home with some popcorn, a movie, and catch up on each other lives with gossip. Better yet you can make valentine gifts for your friends; they’re as good as or even better than any partner in a relationship.

For the Couples: Men and Women

I’m sure you have an idea of what to get your significant other already but, the problem is narrowing it down. You’re probably thinking how much should you spend. You don’t want to come on too strong, but you still want to give something that says you care. Here’s a rough guideline of where you want to be:

Dating:  1 to 5 months

Spending Range: $20-30

Dating: 6 to 12 months

Spending Range: $35-45

Dating: 1-2 years

Spending Range: $50Dating: 3+ years

Spending Range: $50+

Of course all these are rough estimates and it all depends on your own budget and your own personal preference.

Don’t forget you can always be creative with your ideas as well instead of just buying gifts you can always make gifts or create scavenger hunts. It’s always more special when it’s homemade!
