Forever 21

I know, I know.  Our economy sucks and on top of that, the sales tax just rose.  How can we go shopping now?  It’s ridiculous how long I have been on a shopping strike.  I mean I used to go shopping every weekend.  I wouldn’t necessarily buy stuff every week, but at least window shopping is still always fun.  Recently however, I haven’t been doing my weekly shopping.  It really makes me sad, but I had to force myself to not go because even shopping at really cheap stores like Forever 21 and H&M makes me a very bad person.  I normally have really good self-control, but Forever 21 is like the devil—in a good way, of course.  So I haven’t really been shopping for the past couple of months (I know, that’s a really long time, right?), and this past weekend, I decided that it’s time that I really needed to get new clothing.  Plus, I have this black patent bag that I have been carrying every single day because I absolutely adore it, and it really breaks my heart to admit that my bag is falling apart.  So, to prevent my lovely bag from completely dying, I went to go shopping for a cheap everyday bag.  A call for desperation = shopping!

I don’t know about you, but I love Forever 21.  So of course my first stop over the weekend was none other than Forever 21.  This store is great because they carry very fashionable items for very cheap! Even though their stuff is not the best quality, it’s still a great concept because we all can buy a bunch of stuff for this season, wear it a couple of times, and throw it out!  This way, we won’t be feeling like we are always wearing the same clothing year round, and we won’t feel like we’re wasting our clothing or not getting our money’s worth when we throw it out because they’re so cheap!  So the main goal of the weekend was to find myself an everyday bag.  To tell you the truth, this is my first time buying a bag at this store.  I never really thought Forever 21 had a great selection of bags, but now I change my mind.  I saw so many cute bags, even some great wallets, I wanted to buy so many stuff!!  Click here to see the selections from Forever 21: http://www.forever21.com/category.asp?catalog_name=FOREVER21&category_name=acc_handbags&Page=1.  
At the end of my shopping extravaganza, I only ended up buying 1 bag (along with 10 other items), this cute tan colored hobo bag with braided handles and silver hardware.  It’s simple, as I like simplicity, spacious, and cheap ( it was only $30)!!  So if you’re looking for a cheap, fashionable, daily-used bag, I suggest checking out Forever 21.  Anyone else got any other great finds?
