Why do women get to have all the fun with handbags?
It is slowly becoming evident that handbags are becoming popular for men. Throughout Europe and Asia, it is very common to see men carry large handbags (not briefcases or laptop bags) on their shoulders. Pretty soon the men of America will also begin sporting handbags on their shoulders as well. As we all know, America is always behind in fashion trends compared to the rest of the world.
What do I think about this catastrophe? I don’t like it. I think it makes men more feminine and I prefer that men stick with briefcases and laptop bags. Anyhow, we’ll have to wait and see how quickly this trend reaches us.

I love the idea of men carrying their stuff in some sort of bag, expecially those nice leather messenger bags. After all, they carry many of the same items as women. It may just look odd to us Americans because we’re not used to seeing men with bags, kind of like how it looks odd when a woman isn’t carrying a purse or only carries a wallet. A man with a small, masculine, fashionable carry-all looks much more attractive than one with all kinds of odd shapes bulging out of his back pockets.
