Louis Vuitton Dog Bag created by Meryl Smith

I can’t believe this. I was just looking at some blog about all things Louis Vuitton when this picture jumped right at me and nearly gave me a heart attack. Actually, not really. More like me slamming my fist on the table, head jilting forward, eyes popping forward and jaw dropping. But rest assured, this isn’t a real LV bag, otherwise I’d really have to question the taste of Louis Vuitton designers. This Louis Vuitton Dog Bag was designed by Meryl Smith who is an artist and created this bag for an art gallery called ‘Honey Space” in NYC. I guess the theme of the gallery was to create sculptures fitting the measurement requirements for international carry-on luggage. But does this look like a dog to you? Some people say it looks like a pig. I think it looks like a dog with a rat face and a pig snout. And those alien eyes…I can’t even look straight into its eyes. I just don’t know why someone would want to create a bag in a shape of a scary looking dog. Why not make it cute like the Victoria Secret dogs?
