Lily Allen for Coco Cocoon by Chanel Fall '09

Oh boy. The ads for Chanel’s new Coco Coccon line featuring Lily Allen were recently released and I’m totally fascinated by it. Really, the concept of the Coco Cocoon collection just does not appeal to me. Black, puffy, reversable designer handbags? I just can’t picture myself ever wearing these big black puffy things.

Maybe that’s just me though, because in these ads, Lily Allen is totally rockin’ these handbags! She looks sexy and elegant and super hot. I love the big hair, the big tiara, the big sunglasses, and the sleek black and white outfits. It’s definitely very Aubrey Hepburn meets rock ‘n roll princess.

These ads make the handbags look pretty enticing, but I’m not sure if it’s enough to make me rush out and buy one of these bags.
