There are  a few ideas i recieved over the years about what to do with your old handbags. A few of them are good a few of them aren’t, so I list here the Top 5 best ideas of what to do with that old handbag.

  1. Sell it - Most designer handbags still have some value after some light use ( Sometimes extended use ). You will be surprised at how much you can get for them on eBay or stores that help you sell it on ebay, craigslist, or even locally.
  2. Hand it down to someone younger than you – It might just surprise you how much they enjoy a “Grown-Up bag”
  3. Donate It – Goodwill and thrift stores are more than delighted to take your old bags, shoes, clothes or whatever so that they can resell it.
  4. Throw it in the washing machine or dish washer – You might be able to revive it. (Works with cloth based handbags, not so much leather bags)
  5. Salvage It –  This is what I would try to do as the last possible resort. Tear it appart and make things with it like a little coin purse, book covers, picture frame covers, oven mitts etc.,. have fun with it.
