Just released from Gucci are their vintage-inspired pieces that are created with worn appearances that tell a distinctive story of hand-crafted quality enhanced by a new personalized touch. With a new washing process of the finished bag gives each piece a unique, lived-in look. The boston bag above features a beige/ebony pied-de-poule fabric with brown leather trim and green/red/green web, light gold hardware, red washed cotton lining, double handles with 5.1″ drop, adjustable and detachable shoulder strap with 20″ drop, zip-top closure, and bottom feet. The bag shown above is Chanel’s Sumptuously Flirty Fabric Quilted Summer Handbag. This bag was a past season handbag and is now discontinued. You may be able to find one, but it will be a very difficult find.

The colors and texture of this particular Chanel handbag make it unique. The pinkish red color of this bag is one of a kind from Chanel. Very seldom will one be able to see Chanel produce a bag with such an unorthodox color. The color is a great elegant light pink rose color that is ideal for summer. Not only is the color a unique trait of this handbag, the texture is quite a unique trait as well. Chanel is known for using a leather body on their handbags with an exception to this particular bag. Believe it or not, this bag is composed of a fabric body. That is quite unusual from Chanel.

Overall though, I got to say that this is a gorgeous bag. Anything that Chanel produces is always good!

Lanvin is giving fall a unique look. His fur Trousse Shoulder bag is made of gold-dyed fox fur which is made in Italy. It has a 41″ bronze chain and black leather strap, black top fabric zip for secure close, flat bottom, and the measurements are 9″H x 12″W x 3″D. The bag itself is put together in Spain.

Truthfully, this is one of the ugliest bags I’ve ever seen. You can probably only take this out occasionally or when you want to make a statement. Whatever the reason, it is definitely not my cup of tea, however if this bag intrigues you, you can pre-order this bad boy at Neiman Marcus for $2,900. It is expected to ship no later than August 22, 2010.

Finding the perfect clutch for a night event is difficult, but I believe I may have just found one. This Judith Leiber Silver Gem Studded Clutch is a beauty with just enough ‘bling’ to carry to a formal event but not overly done so that you can dress it down to a night out with your friends. The silver metal hardware goes perfect with any colored outfit and the clear and pewter colored crystals match perfectly with the silver color of the clutch. This clutch measures 3.25×1.75×5 inches and includes an optional chain strap. It is lined with silver leather lining and closes with a push lock closure. The estimated retail price was $2,495, but I did see it featured on Portero a while back for $765. It is not featured on Portero’s site anymore which probably means someone has already purchased it. So if anyone sees this clutch for sale, let me know!

I saw a lady carrying this handbag today and I instantly fell in love. This is such a gorgeous handbag. It is very sophisticated looking and has a cute shape to it. I love the pleats in the front as well. So once I got home, I did some researching on the internet about this handbag from Louis Vuitton.

This handbag is known as the Sistina GM in the Damier Ebene Canvas. The exterior has adjustable shoulder straps along with a secure metal closure. The interior contains 3 compartments lined in a red micro fiber with cell phone pouch. It’s simple, yet elegant.

I rate this LV handbag an 8.5 out of 10.

I think most of you would know by now that I love most things by Hermes. I mean how could you not!! I was browsing through Portero when I came across this image and was immediately attracted to it. It is called a Garden Party Bag, but I think it makes a great beach bag albeit a really expensive great beach bag. It is made of 100% cotton linen with black leather handles and trims and closes with a center snap. This bag measures 14” by 10.25” by 6.5” which makes plenty of space for beach gear and necessities. Or you can even get the extra large size that runs 16.75” by 11.5” by 7.5” if you know you tend to carry your life with you. I have seen images of this bag in various single colors, but I love the color combination pictured above. The simple off-white beige with the black leather accents makes it simple and easy to pair with any outfit. If you like this bag, you can get it at Hermes’s website for $1575, or $2025 for the extra large size.

I love sailor stripes and I love this clutch. This Lurex Straw Sunday Clutch is one of Juicy Couture’s latest cutest creations that is perfect for the summer nights out to a beach club or a beach party. The stripes are made of shimmering lurex which is a type of yarn that appears slightly metallic. The clutch is simple with a leather flap over with magnetic closure and a logo hardware piece. It comes in two colors: Angel (pictured above) and Black, but I love the Angel color over the black because the contrasting tan leather and white stripes is a perfect summer combination. The only thing that is preventing me from buying one is that this clutch seems a little large as it measures 12.5” by 3” by 8”. If it was a bit smaller I would buy one in a heartbeat.
