With all the weddings that seem to be happening this year, especially during the summer, I was interested in designer handbags and weddings. I’ve come to realize the one time you can find a woman without a handbag of any kind is at her own wedding. I guess that makes sense. The bride is surrounded by people who will do her bidding for the day so why not use to carry all your necessary little items. I doubt the bride will be needing her credit cards or cash on her wedding…unless of course she’s getting married in Vegas.

I figured still there must be a designer out there that makes a bridal clutch or something…well I didn’t come across many. When I searched for a designer bridal bag I often came up with either generalized clutches or designer bridal dresses such as Oscar de la Renta. Many of the bridal bags I found can be bought at a fairly reasonable price such as $100 or less.

I just found it interesting that women tend to spend a fair amount of money on an everyday basis on handbags, yet when it comes to weddings, the money to be placed on designers are placed elsewhere such as the dress. I suppose weddings are expensive to begin with, so the brides must pick and choose. So how can something so important every day, not be so on such an important day?  I think however this does say something about women and handbags or handbags and politics. What do you think?
