Authentic Designer Purses and Designer Bags are our Passion!

Jump From Paper 2D or 3D Handbags?

Have you ever seen something like this before? This is the coolest thing ever!

This line of handbags was created by two Taiwanese designers, Chay Su and Rika Lin. These two girls made a two-dimensional hand-drawn illustration come to life as a real bag. They called their creation JumpFromPaper™.

JumpFromPaper™ uses cartoon-like outlines and happy colors to make their line more interesting and fun. Even though these bags look slim, these bags have a roomy interior.

What do you think of these handbags? I’m simply in love with them.

Blingin’ Laptop

I have written a few articles on laptop cases but I think this one tops them all. An $11 million dollar laptop case that was designed by Coverbee which is a German brand name. The case contains at least 8,800 diamonds which can easily make it the world’s most expensive laptop case. I don’t think I will ever be able to afford this case but even if I somehow managed to ever win the lotto, I could not see myself purchasing this laptop case. This laptop case all the sudden makes the bright neon Ipad cases made by Emilio Pucci seem affordable now. This would definitely be a good collector’s item for the very few people who can afford this luxurious item. What are your thoughts on this case?

The Silver Thirst Necklace Skip

Have you ever woken up one day to watch the morning news discuss charities then end up feeling like a load of useless ****? (Apparently curse words are not desirable so let us insert “waste”). There is so much going on in the world without our knowledge as we routinely go about our everyday lives. The thought left me in a major funk.

To pull myself out of that funk I started reading about donating to causes, and what I can do to lend a hand. There was a website www.jewelryforacause.net that had proceeds from jewelry purchases go towards certain worthy causes. Each product for purchase lists the website you can click into to find out which charity the proceeds will go to. Who doesn’t see the win-win idea here? The accessories itself look great so you can get a token for yourself as you donate to a cause.

The campaign for Swaziland Silver Thirst Necklace represents access to safe water and sanitation for the single highest HIV/Aids population of any country. The necklace has a 1.5” high pendant inscribed with the word “thirst” that hangs on an adjustable leather cord for $500. Twenty percent of the proceeds go to The Thirst Project. www.thirstproject.org. Look it up and be philanthropic.

The “can-do/will-do” attitude I was radiating was so positive I found an unknown skip to my steps. Not that I physically acted out on that skip, mind you, but I did a marathon of skips in my head.

Giorgio Armani – Large Leather Bag?

I don’t get the joke, but this is Giorgio Armani’s new large leather bag. It is obviously not made of leather. Is there something I’m missing here? Please help me understand this phenomenon. I feel like I’m so outdated not understanding this odd title.

The bag is composed of cotton, polyester, and viscose. The bag consists of leather handles; however, this doesn’t justify it being titled as a leather bag. Louis Vuitton’s handbags are composed of canvas and leather trimmings. They are not considered leather bags. So, why is this bag considered an Armani leather bag? Please educate me, people!

Marc Jacobs’ Brighton Rose Bag

OMG. How cute is the Marc Jacobs Brighton Rose shoulder bag? I love the color blocking that makes it feel very Spring-like. I love the shape and size. The bag also has a great throwback vibe that reminds me of the ‘80s. The bag retails for $1495 on Net-a-Porter.

What People Are Saying About Gucci

Have you noticed that less people are carrying Gucci handbags these days? If you haven’t noticed, I suggest you start counting the women that are carrying Gucci handbags. You will notice that the number is quite small compared to what you used to see in the past. Why is this?

Many women are no longer purchasing Gucci handbags because they claim that the bags no longer hold their values. How so you may ask? Well, Gucci is constantly giving sales and mark-downs on their merchandise. This makes consumer feel that their Gucci bag that they just purchased went down in value. Consumers rather purchase a Louis Vuitton or Chanel handbag because these companies never put their merchandise on sale. As a matter of fact, they are constantly increasing their prices. This makes consumers want to get in on the action. Consumers feel that they are buying into an investment, for the price will continue to go up and never down. The logic behind this makes sense, r ight?

So what do you all think about this?

Marc by Marc Jacobs Letter ‘M’ Supply Backpack

If a man who cannot count finds a four-leaf clover, is he lucky? ~Stanislaw J. Lec

There was a discussion at my work place the other day about how the color green can be incorporated into fashion without looking like a wee ‘lil leprechaun. The topic was brought to attention by the upcoming Guinness day drink fest (for the people of age of course). St. Patrick’s Day! It is the day where humans suddenly evolve to develop deadly pincers, a greenish hue, and an act of desperation to find a mutant clover.

Well, I will be wearing my best greens that day so follow me to the end of the rainbow with the Marc by Marc Jacobs Letter ‘M’ supply backpack because I just might lead you to a pot of gold. The Incredible Hulk of a bag had grown on me after contemplating its desirability for a good half hour. Originally I was thinking why anyone would want to wear Mario’s (from Super Mario) pipe as a backpack. It is made of polyester/pvc with adjustable straps and a double Velcro closure.

I did not know if it was the luck of the holiday or the mutant clover I had for lunch, but the crayon green just magnificently pops. It’s only $268 to wear Mario’s pipe on your back. The large ‘M’ stitched logo on the exterior of the bag is a clever charm to the Marc by Marc Jacobs brand. These all sound like questionable praises until I mention this one last tidbit. It has to be hand washed! It will take more than a pitcher of Guinness and those mutant clovers to consider that trait desirable.

A Handbag for Animal Lovers

While I was browsing through the internet, I came across this very interesting handbag. Even though this handbag is only made from canvas, it seems as if it can be a really sturdy and useful handbag. I am sure it will receive an approval from all the animal lovers out there. The more I stared at this handbag I realized that it would make a pretty good beach bag, being that it gives off a beach mood with the tan and orange exterior and also the handles seems to be made from a braided rope material. I liked everything about this handbag up until I looked at the price tag which than made me reconsider labeling this bag as a “beach” bag. The handbag is being sold on the Hermes website and is being listed for $3,275.00, which I am sure will make everyone reconsider using this as a beach bag. I am not quite sure I approve of this handbag anymore, what do you think? Would this handbag be worth it for you?
