"I'm singing in the rain! Singing in the rain! What a glorious feeling...~" (That was the Gene Kelly’s song for those who astoundingly can’t recognize the famous lyrics). Shame on you if you didn't! I know… I know… we are still in the summer season and I'm not a crazy person. It was just drizzling a moment ago so umbrellas can still be considered an accessory even in the humid heat of the season. In truth, I carry a typical black umbrella that only costs $35. The generic umbrella had me wondering how much a brand name umbrella would cost. The $35 one purchased at any random department store has been a sturdy tent from the rain ever since it had been purchased. That would be four years and running if you're wondering. It's a sensible excuse for saving $215 (this is subtracting my $35) on a Burberry Check-Lined Walking Umbrella. For $325 this stylish umbrella with its signature check-lined canopy and engraved plaque on leather handles puts my sensible umbrella to shame. That was not a glorious feeling.
