Balenciaga Brick!
Balenciaga Brick!
There are travel friendly appropriate looking bags for men, then there are the not so friendly responses to some travel bags such as: “Great beard of Zeus don’t tell me you think this is good looking!?” “Did you hit your head somewhere before you made that purchase?” “My dog’s pooper scooper has more style than your travel bag.” Ignore the last comment. Even if you slap a brand name on a bag does not mean that the bag can’t be an eyesore. The Balenciaga “Reporter S Groseille” is not only as plain as ever, but in my honest opinion the lack of style in its physical appearance makes the bag...

Homemade Shoulder Coupler for your Handbag
Homemade Shoulder Coupler for your Handbag
When wearing a shoulder bag with two straps, it can get annoying when one of the straps keep slipping off your shoulder. I thought of an easy way to keep the straps from falling off your shoulder. Simply buy a strip of velcro and wrap the two handles with the velcro. If you want, you can wrap the straps at the bottom of the shoulder straps. This way you will not feel the bump from the velcro on your shoulder. I know this is a very cheap and tacky means of holding the shoulder straps together, but it works wonders!

Bahama Worthy Fedora
Bahama Worthy Fedora
I was avoiding the intense sun while emitting immense jealousy towards my friend, and his boat when I realized what I was missing (besides the boat). It began with this mental checklist: slim leather wallet — Check, cell phone — Check, styling sunglasses — Check, ridiculously overpriced watch — Check, my handsome self — Triple Check! Besides the sunglasses protecting me from the sun I had nothing else, but the cabin of the boat. What was missing? A friggin’ hat! Duh! How could anyone who avoids the sun forget to buy a hat?! My stupidity is not amazing, but amusing. After turning red in the face with an embarrassing...

Here’s a short list I put together for all the ladies who are looking to buy cologne for their men, but are unsure of where to start. This can also be a very helpful guide for all the men who want to get noticed a bit more for their choice of scent. I chose my top 3 colognes that will definitely be worth your money. First off we have the Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani. This one is rated number 1 for bestseller under the men’s fragrance on both Sephora and Ulta’s website. I actually own this fragrance myself, and I must say that I have...

Brand Name Written in Large Font — Fashion Tip
Brand Name Written in Large Font — Fashion Tip
Here is a handbag fashion tip for all you ladies out there. When buying a handbag, make sure you do not buy a handbag that has its brand name written all over the bag. The last thing you want to be is a walking billboard for the company. Bags that are acceptable: - Jumbled letters that don’t quite reveal the brand name. - Monogram prints that are repetitive that are depicted as a logo or symbol. - Small signatures of the brand name on the handbag. - Emblems or metal hardware with the logo on the bag as long as the logo is not dominating more than 30% of...

Spring Trend
Spring Trend
The trend for the coming Spring seems to be something small, something lightweight, something easy on the hands. Shoulder and cross-body bags have become such a big hit again, making a revival from the early 90’s trend. This coming season, go for something bold: bold color or bold pattern. Dress simple and carry a bright and bold bag to get yourself noticed.

Fall Handbag Trends for 2010
Fall Handbag Trends for 2010
Word on the streets is that Fall 2010 handbag trends will involve military style prints, animal motifs, and rich neutral colors. The military style is a unique fashion cue for 2010. I think it will look something along the lines of the picture above. I don’t think camouflage will be popular because that fad has been long gone! The next trend may be animal motifs on handbags like the Kate Spade bag pictured above. I feel this trend may be dull (not anything special). The giraffe and zebra print was popular in 2008, so I don’t think it will be fashionable again. ...

Exotic Season
Exotic Season
As I was browsing online for bags, I noticed a lot of exotic skins and studs. Both were trends several years ago, but I suppose fashion is all about recycling trends in a new way. Coach has come up with some new bags that tell us that exotic skins are in again. The majority of their new bags are of python skin, which is a trend I have been seeing lately such as in Michael Kors bags. This makes me sad because it reminds me how fall is approaching. People tend to carry bags of texture during the fall/winter such as bags of different leathers or studs; whereas...

How to Wear the Louis Vuitton Neverfull
Many people purchase the Neverfull tote bag from Louis Vuitton, but don’t know its hidden capabilities. Everybody knows that the bag is practical and can be used to hold a lot of their belongings. However, was that all it was designed for though? Read on and I’ll show you the way the Neverfull was meant to be worn. Nautical Summer
Nautical Summer
I don’t know how it is outside of Southern California, but these days have sure been gloomy. Now that July is here, hopefully the sun will stay out more and that it will finally feel like summer! With summer comes summer bags; bright, light and colorful. So what’s going on this summer? Expect to see bright colored patterned bags, straw bags, and rope handle bags. One look that I like is the nautical look. There’s something about the sailor look in the summer that makes it look so classy. I love the blue and white color combination which is probably why I’m always wearing white and blue. Don’t have nautical...
