This bag is pretty awesome I must admit. This bag is from Burberry’s new sprayed check line. I like how Burberry was still able to incorporate its signature plaid design and add a modern twist to the finish. This new look from Burberry, shouts: “hip” while simultaneously whispers: “heritage”. Enough talking about the new look, let’s focus now on the actual bag itself.
The bag still consists of Burberry’s patented cotton canvas Lowry printed with a sprayed exaggerated plaid look. This bag has normal flat straps and an additional adjustable/detachable shoulder strap used for wearing across the body. This is always a great addition to any bag. Sometimes women like to have their hands free, so they can accomplish everyday tasks more efficiently. Additionally, this bag has a top zip closure, one interior zip pocket, and two inter pouch pockets. Finally, the last detail I liked about this bag was the 5 metal feet on the bottom of the bag. These feet are used to protect the exterior base of the bag when the handbag is placed on a flat surface. You may have also seen these feet on many other designer handbag brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Rioni, Dior, and Coach. Well, let’s move on and see what I rate this bag.
To be fair and non-bias, because I am a Burberry lover, I think this bag is so-so. One of the main reasons is that I feel like it is extremely over-priced. The bag costs £895.00 which equates to roughly $1,472.00 US Dollars. I feel it is a bit too pricey for a bag that is made mostly of cotton canvas. I will rate this bag a 7 out of 10.
