Spring 2015 Small Handbags Trend

During the Spring 2015 collections at Paris Fashion Week, something that could only be described as a disturbance in the force of handbag karma took place. For the first time in recent memory, daytime handbags have shrunk exponentially in size, providing fashion lovers with an alternative to the oversized totes and satchel bags that have dominated the scene for such a long time now. While the offerings for the season appear to be many, we've managed to narrow down our edit to two of our absolute favorites. In no particular order, here are two of the smallest, best-looking day bags for spring 2015. Tod's Micro Mini D-Styling Bag This tiny version of Tod's D-Styling bag is adorably convenient; just big enough for a set of keys, a credit card, and some emergency cash. Crafted form silky leather, it has the same hand-dyed pipings and rounded twin handles as its larger cousin, the D-Styling Medium Shopping bag. The Prada Mini Saffiano Promenade Bag The Saffiano bag is still the bag gracing the arm of many a fashion editor, so it should come as no surprise that the completely adorable miniature version is just as popular. Made from the same Saffiano leather as its parent bag, the mini tote also boasts the same golden hardware, rounded double top handles, and two-way zip top as the larger version. The mini Saffiano also comes with a shoulder strap, making it perfect for use as a cross-body bag for daytime shopping trips when you really want to have your hands free.
